1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using LilPuzzler, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by these terms, please do not use this service.

2. Description of Service

LilPuzzler provides a web-based tool for generating custom word searches, mazes, and criss-cross puzzles intended for educational and personal use.

3. User Accounts

Optional user accounts are available to save settings and preferences. To create an account, you must be at least 13 years old and confirm this during signup. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. We reserve the right to disable or delete accounts (including for inactive or blocked users) at our sole discretion.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the service to generate offensive, inappropriate, or unlawful content. We reserve the right to restrict access, suspend generation, or block accounts for users who violate this policy.

5. Intellectual Property

The generated puzzles are provided for your personal and educational (classroom) use. You may print and distribute them freely to students or children. However, you may not mass-produce, sell, or commercialize the puzzles generated by our service without explicit written permission. The underlying software, platform design, and LilPuzzler trademarks remain the exclusive property of LilPuzzler.

6. Limitation of Liability and AI Disclaimer

Because our puzzle engine utilizes randomized algorithms and AI generation (Large Language Models), we cannot guarantee that the resulting letter grids or generated themes will never accidentally form unintended words or inappropriate content.

LilPuzzler is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind. We explicitly disclaim any responsibility for offensive or inappropriate content that may be inadvertently generated. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your access to or use of, or inability to access or use, the service.

7. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless LilPuzzler, its officers, directors, employees, and agents, from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including, without limitation, reasonable legal and accounting fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms.

8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms will be brought exclusively in the federal or state courts located in Texas, and the parties hereby irrevocably consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue therein.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms from time to time at our sole discretion. Your continued use of the website after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms of Service.
